Nicholls (Chessington) recently sold two properties for us and I also purchased a property via Nicholls (Ewell). I have to say, through the whole process Nicholls (each and every one of them) were absolutely fabulous and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again whether selling or purchasing a property. After a few months of searching we have recently moved to a new property, during the search we viewed several properties with Nicholls Residential, specifically with Fotini, I just wanted to say that Fotini was one of our favourite estate agents we've met across multiple companies. She was so friendly and made each viewing a nice one. She was enthusiastic about each property, and we found her relatable, easy to talk to, and supportive. Her communication was great over email too when needing to reschedule/book in viewings. Whilst we hopefully won't need to move again, if we ever did I would be delighted to use Nicholls in the future purely based on the great example Fotini set for the company, I hope she has a successful career and thanks to her for being lovely at all our viewings. We have worked with Nicholls Residential twice now first when we bought our house in 2021 and more recently when we sold it. Both experiences were excellent, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. When we purchased our home, the process was far from straightforward. It was a long chain, and it took a while to complete. Simon, John, and the entire team at Nicholls Residential were fantastic at keeping us updated and explaining each stage, which made the whole experience much less stressful. More recently, we found our new house through Nicholls Residential and entrusted them to sell our property as well. The sale involved a complex inheritance situation, and just before completion, we faced significant issues with the tenants in the property we were buying. Through all of this, Nicholls Residential remained extremely helpful and professional. They supported us every step of the way, always approachable and ready to answer any questions. They valued our property fairly and managed to achieve a reasonable sale price for us. The NR team at North Cheam is truly OUTSTANDING! As first-time tenants, we were fortunate to have Jacqueline guide us through the entire rental process with such kindness and patience. The NR team has always been incredibly responsive and approachable. Whenever we encountered any issues during our tenancy, they addressed them promptly, professionally, and with great respect. After recently moving to a property managed by a larger company, we couldn’t help but notice the stark difference in service. Unfortunately, we felt undervalued and dismissed by the larger company, particularly as tenants don’t pay them commissions. To make matters worse, their staff was inexperienced, even struggling to open PDF files correctly. In contrast, while NR may be a smaller company and doesn’t have the advanced software that the larger company uses, their efficiency, competence, and professionalism shine through. I've used Nicholls Residential for 7 years to manage my buy-to-let property, and throughout that time have received a faultless, fantastic service. As a result we had no hesitation using Nicholls for the sale of our main property in Epsom. I'm pleased to say this worked out really well, we appreciated the pre-marketing advice, and the marketing itself was great and led to us having a buyer within 2 days of listing. The team subsequently did a brilliant job with the sales process to ensure all parties were kept up to date and I was given regular updates. Likewise, the team were always available for questions and on the end of the phone, which was a real help as the conveyancing process and chain had a few complications.
